About the Venue
Located in the heart of downtown Lawrence along the Kansas River, Abe & Jake’s Landing is one of the area’s most unique event spaces. The historic building originally housed the Consolidated Barbed Wire Company in the late 1800s and has since been beautifully restored into a modern venue that blends historic industrial character with contemporary amenities. Today, the space features soaring ceilings, exposed beams, and large windows overlooking the river.

We’re excited to welcome Kevin Horner, an award-winning ventriloquist, comedian, and magician who has entertained audiences for more than 20 years at many events across the country. Known for his quick wit, unique characters, and interactive comedy style, Kevin’s performances are designed to bring audiences together through laughter and memorable moments.
